Day 26: Back to Dushanbe

Hello again from Tajikistan. After four days up north, we flew back to the capital this morning, with more spectacular mountain views out the windows (we have been told that Tajikistan is 93% covered with mountains). Tomorrow will be our final day in Asia. It has been quite a trip - at times heartbreaking, at times encouraging. Please continue to pray for us as we sort through all we have learned.

In the evening, we visited a local family. It was good to experience good ole Central Asia hospitality again. We had looked forward to many of these encounters in Uz, but deportation made it impossible. Typically, Ella was by far the most honored guest.


In Ella-related news, she was showing off today in this windowsill. I am standing behind her as a safety net, but she is standing completely on her own her by holding onto the bars.
