We managed to get to a beach 3x while we were in Azerbaijan. It was a 40 minute bus ride south of the city to get to an area where the water was less colorful (as in oil).

Ella did venture into the sea a few times, but she much preferred the sand. Here Ella sits in the sand and watches her papa in the sea...
Mama tried to bury Ella in the sand...

Twice we got to go to the beach with another family that had a couple of girls older than Ella. These two were inseparable...
