Did you know that the valley where we live is the home of the apricot? We are blessed to have 3 different types of apricots in our garden and well, this year they REALLY blessed us. We have picked more than 100# just for jam alone and picked and given away many more beyond that. Over the course of 2 days we made roughly 50 liters of this yummy stuff. So, lots of others are going to be blessed by our apricots trees this year, too!

We first had to pick the apricots. We did it like this again this year, by holding sheets, but didn't get a picture of it.

Then on to washing, pitting and slicing (the bigger ones). Ella liked to help...

That's a lot of jam! We look forward to sharing this jam with others this year!
