We made it out to the lake twice with Beth and down to the river at the bottom of our street, too. Thankfully while she was here the weather was very pleasant, unlike the heat we are experiencing now, but we still enjoyed the cool lake.

Just 600 meters from our house is this river that runs through town. Aaron's new exercise routine is to swim for 30 min every morning. One evening he took a post dinner swim. We all tagged along. You can see his head there in the water...
There was this mangy little puppy there and Silas, having no fear of and great love for animals, wanted to pet it. Thankfully big sister knows better. Here she is protecting him saying, "Silas, no! He will bite you and then you'll die!"
One thing I never got around to this year was decorating Easter eggs, so who better to decorate them with than Aunt Beth? :)

Beth brought these wonderful face masks and foot scrubs, so one night after the kids were in bed we pampered ourselves. Our plan went wrong when after the pampering, we planned to watch a "chick flick", but just a few minutes into the movie we were both out cold ! :)
Here is Beth's room, notice the sign above her bed, It says, "Welcome Aunt Bethany!" Ella had a blast coloring it.

Thanks for all the new pictures. The one of Silas with Beth -- oh my, he really looks a lot like Jonathan in that picture. So much fun to see these and to see how they are growing.
I have to agree with Carol. When I first saw the blog I had a picture of Jonathan when he was little on my desk next to the computer. I could not believe how much they looked alike. LOVE seeing new pics!
