On another subject, some have asked what ever happened to all of the insulin that we brought (we were, of course, unable to deliver it to the man who needs it because of being turned away at the border). Praise God, we were able to find someone in Bishkek who was traveling to Tashkent who could deliver it all to one of our contacts who could then get it all to where it needs to go. We were so happy that this all worked out. Do please pray for the wonderful man who this insulin is intended for.
On another unrelated subject, it seems that I may have been a tad optimistic in my comments several days ago about the demonstration I saw in Bishkek being a sign of comparative freedom in this country. We have heard reports that the protest was broken up by police with tear gas and batons and three people were killed. We have seen no evidence of unrest where we are, and see no reason for concern.
