One of the many perks to working with an international organization is sharing our holidays and traditions together. I introduced Thanksgiving to our coworkers the past couple of years and this year at Christmas it was no different.
We will start with Christmas eve. Because Christmas eve is the traditional day for celebrating in Europe, we had a European Christmas Eve, being hosted by our German and Swedish counterparts. The kids all made cookies together while the adults enjoyed coffee.
The finished decorated cookies...
We enjoyed games, singing carols, a great dinner, and lots of fun.
and of course, delicious treats like these (note that chubby little hand going for another cookie!)...
We also shared a Pakistani tradition of cutting a birthday cake for Jesus!
