daddy is home!

Aaron arrived home late last night and we are really glad to have him back. (I think he's glad to be back, too!) He said that Ella grew while he was gone. I think she actually lost weight, as her appetite was non-existent this week.

This morning they snuggled underneath the blanket and read a book...pretty sweet, huh?



This afternoon we also winterized our house. Our windows have enormous gaps where the glass meets the panes. Its so bad that the curtains blow in the wind and you could feel a draft from across the room! Ella, as always, was a big helper to Mommy today while we stuffed cotton into all the cracks!


We can already feel the difference inside!

Only a week and a half until we leave. We are all pretty sick now and several of the landlord's family seem to have a new strain of flu that is even worse and very yucky, so pray that we all get healthy before the big trip across the world!
