little helper

Ella loves to help. Even when it isn't so helpful. But we keep thinking that if we encourage it now, it will pay off one day. All of these pictures are from the last week or so, none of them were posed, and everything that Ella is doing was from her own initiative.

Cleaning the glass on the bookshelves... After watching her mom do it, she pushed the chair over, got a rag, and tried to get the spots mom missed...

Here she is 'helping' her mom make jam...


And helping her old man by rinsing the dishes...

She carries her little stool to the kitchen saying "help you" (or something like that) when we start doing dishes. And yes, she gets soaked in the process...

We just hope that as she gets older, her desire to help keeps up with her ability.
