We needed to go have our family picture taken so that we could send it home to be included in the MCC directory. So we cleaned up and walked across the street to this big willow tree.
What you might not have noticed in the above photo is that Ella has got a couple of beauty marks from interfacing with the furniture/floor. We told her to smile big so people wouldn't notice...
After the family picture, she found her first dandelion puff...
This one looks like she's trying out for American Idol...
She figured out that you've got to close your eyes when you blow the seeds...
Its not an ice cream cone, dear...

One of my favorite pictures of my kids is when they're battered and bruised. Isabel has stitches on her chin from a faceplant into our hardwood floor the previous week, and Zach decided to tumble on the way to the photographer's studio, scraping both his knees. It's adorable! They're both smiling big, wearing proudly their battle scars from childhood. :)
What a fine looking family, if I do say so myself! =)
Does any other family member out there think that close up of Ella reminds you of Jen when she was little(the smile-- and you'd probably have to look back at old pictures)??
I can't believe how she's growing. A sweet little lady, she is!

Hey, I can photoshop the bumps away if you want. It's actually really easy. Just send me the one you wan to use for the directory (preferably high resolution) That's a good picture of you guys!
James... if only you could photoshop away the pain... then you would be her fav uncle.
Great family picture. And the Ella/dandelion pics are great too. Well Laurie, this is mother of Aaron here --- I think that Ella face closely resembles Aaron when he was that age - but perhaps the more slender shape of the child resembles Jen (ahhem) I may be in trouble!
