We've been living up in Khojand for about a month now, and we are finally ready to show you our new place. We plan to move out to a more traditional neighborhood this spring (if we can find a house), but for now we are in a Soviet-style apartment near the city center. After living in Khiva, our new place is shockingly modern - with water and electricity about 75% of the time and gas 25%. But the gap between living standards in the center differ greatly from everywhere else, so we will enjoy it while it lasts.
