UBO

Well, its two days later and the jury is still out on the question of the UBO. It has been the talk of the town, and everyone was saying that everything would be explained on the news, but not a peep.

Today some press (tv, radio, newspaper) came to one of our projects and they started to ask me questions for their stories. But I interrupted them and said before they started I had a question: what was the fire on the mountain? The radio guy said he didn't know and was hoping they would explain it on tv. The tv guy just shrugged. The newspaper man insisted that it was hooligans setting a fire at the bottom of the mountain that spread and grew large up over time - which may be possible, but those are pretty rocky mountains; not much vegetation to burn, and it was a huge area that was on fire. The others were not so sure.

One of our worker's husband is in the police. His story was that the authorities went up there the next morning to investigate and found no sign of anything burnt. They say it was the hand of Allah. hmmmm.

Still a mystery.

Oh, one more thing: When Ella came out on the street that night and saw it and heard us all talking about a fire on the mountains, this was her reaction:

"I got a great idea... lets get some sticks and marshmallows and go to the mountain!"
