ducks

We got ducks. Four mallards and a pekin. Why ducks, you ask? I would like to be able to tell you that we just got them to teach Ella about things like responsibility and gentleness, but the thing is, I just really like ducks and those other things seemed like a good enough excuse.

But if there needed to be another reason, have a look at the girl's face when she had her first chance to strangle pet one in the store...
When we got home she terrorized played with them some more...
