one week left/open house

Welcome to anyone visiting our blog for the first time from the link in the email. We plan to maintain this blog during our time in Tajikistan. So come here for family news, pictures, and to hear quick updates from us. We will of course continue to send out the paper and email newsletters as well.

Well, the countdown has begun. We fly out of Chicago on the afternoon of September 5 (and arrive in Dushanbe early on September 7). We were thinking today about how we are running out of time to see all the folks we would like to see one last time. So... we thought an open house would be a good idea.
