So, if you have watched the news, you know that Europe is getting hit hard with some pretty cold weather and snow. While our weather is not quite as cold, its cold all the same.
How cold is it??? Here is some evidence. Our kitchen door...
And to keep our outside pipes from freezing and bursting, we keep the tap running a bit. Sometimes this is what happens even with it running...
But, we know that spring comes earlier here than at home, so we have hope. I was looking at these soon to be cherry blossoms on the tree in our garden. In a few short weeks they will burst with color. We have hope!
It is kind of a shame that we are going to be leaving just as soon as the beautiful weather comes. Spring in Tajikistan is the reward at the end of a hard winter!
